DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING THE MAC REGIONAL TOBY ENTRY

All online submissions for the MAC Regional TOBY Award must be submitted through the BOMA International TOBY site by January 22, 2018 at midnight.   All Regional submissions are done online. They must make the required payment to BOMA International at this point in the process. This can only be done with a credit card.

ONLINE JUDGING TIMEFRAME

Online judging for the MAC Regional TOBY Awards will take place from January 24th through February 20th. We anticipate the winners being notified after March 1st.  All winners will know well in advance if they are Regional winners. This is different from the BOMA International Awards.

DATE OF THE BOMA MAC CONFERENCE & TOBY AWARDS DINNER

The Middle Atlantic Conference will take place May 3rd & 4th  with the MAC Regional TOBY Awards dinner taking place on the evening of May 4th, 2018 . This year the Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Buffalo, NY hosted by BOMA Buffalo.  Additional information is posted on the website site soon:  http://www.bomamac.com.

These buildings are is now situated to enter and compete for the BOMA International Awards which will be held at the BOMA International Conference being held in June in Nashville, TN.

THE OUTSTANDING BUILDING OF THE YEAR (TOBY) AWARDS were established by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International, in 1985 to honor and recognize the quality in office building operations and award excellence in office building management.  The TOBY Mission: "Recognizing excellence in building management, operational efficiency, tenant retention, emergency planning and community impact."

 The Middle Atlantic Region, better known as MAC or the Middle Atlantic Conference, is comprised of 16 local associations with a combined membership in excess of 3500 members covering 11 states and the District of Columbia, including: Capital Region/Albany, Baltimore, Boston, Greater Buffalo, Greater Hartford, New Jersey, Central New York, Greater New York, Central Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Long Island, NY, Rochester, Southern Connecticut, AOBA/BOMA Washington, D.C., Rochester and Westchester County, NY as well as members at Large. The Middle Atlantic Conference meets at the BOMA International Winter Business Meeting and the BOMA International Every Building Conference and Expo as well as holding its own annual meeting in the spring. The purpose of the annual meeting is to: create, develop and maintain cooperation among the owners of office, retail, industrial, loft and apartment buildings; promote the exchange of ideas and information; promote the general welfare of the industry; and groom the future leaders of BOMA International.
